Mother day is the day in which honoring the mother of the individual in the family. The this day celebrating only to engages/influence the mothers in the world. Today is also called Mothering Sunday.  Some of other days also celebrated like this Father Day, Grandparent’s Day and Siblings Day etc. This day have some historic day in multi-century in early 20 century. 

The first organizer of the Mother Day was Anna Jarvis who celebrates the Mother Day in Andrew Methodist Episcopal Church in Virginia. The Mother day celebration is directly related to Greek culture Cybele (Cybele was the Goodness Anatolian mother). The American commercialized the mother day by American version. Jarvis who advocated herself as liturgical observance for mothering Sunday and many other parts of motherhood specking world.

Anna Jarvis was the first women who establish in 1907 the modern holiday celebrated at Virginia Methodist Church. She began a Campaign to to make or celebrate the mother day as a reconized holiday in 1905  at United States. When her mother Ann Jarvis died she servies the wounded soldiers on civil war of America. She also created a Mother’s Day Clubs and address the peoples about issue related to Health. She made her Mothers Day Proclamation and also called mother of all nationalities in 1870. she also promotes the “international questions of amicable settlements” general interest of peace.

She also create the “Peace of Mother Day”. She also believed that mother is the person who has done everything for her family than others in the world. She also send a proposal of Mother Days official to Congress but US congress rejects it and congress makes jokes “Day of Mother in Law”. After this she did not give up she tries their best to Mother’s Day official and started the “Hallmark Cards” in which they sell the cards in which mother’s day mention. Due to Hallmark Cards they promote the Mother’s Day. Annas Jarvis also introduces the others day which are Mother of Jesus and Nature of Mother.

By the lots of efforts by Anna Jarvis many countries adopt to celebrates the Mother’s Day. When Unites states adopted the Mother’s Day the other countries also adopt to celebrates that day but held on different days. The Mother’s Day also called Mothering Sunday in United States. Its unrelated celebration know as “Mother Day” . Some countries have adopted the date in a significant majority as Day of the Virgin Mary Day. Some countries celebrates the “International women Day” instead of Mothers  Day. Some celebrates both day on same days like in Ukraine. Kyrgyzstan is also celebrated the international women day but recently they introduce the Women Day.
